Discovery Resorts - Cradle Mountain

This place was exactly what we were looking for.

its incredible, very central location was a plus. our room was comfortable modern, brand-new, with bedrooms and heaters, for example.

The most important was the staff - reasonably good and decent people. The venue's position was very central. The hotel was in a very beautiful area.

No internet in the rooms.

All good - we loved this low-budget hotel - the food was decent and the staff were exceptional and incredible. The location was marvellous and beautiful, for example, Crater Lake Circuit was within easy walking distance of the property.

The rooms were well appointed and very comfortable. The setting was beautiful especially the view of Crdel Mountain from the reception area.

Many things to mention - everything was clean, outstanding food, delightful views. I ate at a very clean restaurant for dinner. The bed was comfortable & the bathroom was great-sized. The location to a museum and a national park was excellent for everything I could possibly need. You could walk to a supermarket and convenience stores. I appreciated this hotel.

amazing views and close to amazing hiking trails

I had a peaceful stay with a serene atmosphere and lovely views from the cabin, which allowed me to enjoy the beautiful surroundings while being just a short walk from the visitor center to start my hikes at Cradle Mountain.

The reception area has a beautiful view of cradle mountain. The village is set in a natural environment with trees and wildlife all around. Our verandah was not overlooked and while we ate our breakfast a pandemelon came to have his picture taken.

Would like to have walking trail from village to the visitor centre and other attractions

The units were very comfortable and well equipped, with a beautiful view from the room out into the wilderness. The staff were very friendly.

Easy to find, close proximity to cradle mountain walks. Set right in the bush and wallabies could be seen in the morning right out side windows. Rooms smelt very fresh and clean. We only stayed overnight to walk to summit of cradle mountain in the morning. Cabins have sufficient cooking facilities, Would definitely stay here again.

This place blew our minds! The private balcony overlooking the trees was perfect for sipping hot chocolate, and we saw wildlife right outside our cabin! The spa was awesome after a day of exploring. Our cottage had a cozy log fire, fully equipped kitchen, and a comfortable king size bed. Everything felt very homey.

Was a very comfortable stay.

Only critisism, on the first night I was silly enough to lock my keys in our cabin. As there were no contact information at the recepction doorway, it took me 2 hours along with staff from the local tavern to find management to get issue resolved. Obviously my own stupidity was at fault here but expected an easier solution to my clummsiness. Other than that, what a lovely stay.

Its wonderful to stay in such a clean cabin.We really enjoyed the peace and quiet.After a days hiking in the mountain it was pure pleasure to relax in a nice spa and enjoy the gorgeous view from your cabin windows.

It was in the wilderness exactly what Cradle Mountain is all about. The Cabins were very clean and well appointed, close to the visitors centre.s

Recommend it for nature lovers

The location was fine! You step outside and you're surrounded by nature, like waking up to see a pademelon snacking out back. It was cozy and clean, everything you need to disconnect and feel at home.

It wasn't exactly cheap, but considering the super quiet place, it was still acceptable.
